Amy Osler, who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 50, served as the evening’s guest speaker and is AWARE’s Spirit of Alzheimer’s Education Leader. AWARE is dedicated to fighting Alzheimer’s disease by providing funding and support to pro- grams, projects and research of nonprofit organizations that actively help individuals affected by Alzheimer’s in the greater North Texas area. Among the many programs the Auxil- iary organizes are Back to School, An- gel Tree, Kettles at North Park, Santa Sacks and the annual Fashion Show and Luncheon.
